UNDERSTANDING THE SAMPLING & TESTING PROCESS
From start to finish, we are here to assist you and make the process as seamless as possible.
Preparation and Planning
Identify Analysis Requirements: We start by assisting the client in determining the specific tests and analyses needed for the material. This could include testing for contaminants, verifying ingredient levels, or ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Determine the Sampling Plan: We either follow the client's proposed sampling plan or devise an appropriate sampling plan tailored to the material and testing requirements.
Select Representative Samples: It's crucial to choose samples that accurately represent the entire batch or lot of material. This ensures that the test results are representative, meaningful and reliable.
Sample Collection
Use of Sterile Equipment: We use sterile tools and containers to collect samples, preventing contamination. This includes disposable and stainless-steel spoons, scoops, triers, forceps, and spatulas, etc. which are sterilized prior to and after use.
Aseptic Techniques: Our team follows strict aseptic techniques to maintain the integrity of the samples and avoid cross contamination. This involves careful handling and transferring of samples to avoid any external contamination as well.
Strict Procedures: All samples are collected in accordance with FDA guidelines while also adhering to strict SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and industry standards.
Sample Handling and Storage
Proper Labeling: Each sample is labeled accurately with relevant information, such as the item, date, time, product code and batch/lot number, to ensure traceability.
Storage Conditions: Samples are stored under appropriate conditions to preserve their quality until they are analyzed. This might involve refrigeration or freezing, depending on the type of material.
Laboratory Analysis (Done by one of our Partner Labs or Lab of your Choosing)
Homogenization: In the lab, samples are homogenized to ensure uniformity. This step is essential for obtaining consistent and reliable test results.
Testing: The samples undergo various tests based on the identified requirements. This can include microbiological testing, chemical analysis, sanitation analysis, and physical assessments.
Results Interpretation and Reporting
Data Analysis: The results from the laboratory tests are analyzed to determine if the food meets safety and quality standards.
Reporting: We provide detailed reports to our clients, outlining the findings and any necessary actions to address potential issues.

Adhering to these procedures ensures that our sampling process is comprehensive, precise, and dependable, aiding our clients in upholding stringent food safety and quality standards.
